The kick off between USMNT and Mexico is scheduled at 9.15 (ET) on Sunday, March 24 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Concacaf Nations League 2024 final between the USA and Mexico will be shown live on Paramount+. Paramount+ offers seven-day free trial, as per a report in CBS sports.

USMNT are favourites to win the final and lift the Concacaf Nations League 2024 on Sunday.

Haji Wright was the hero once more as the United States defeated Jamaica 3-1 in extra-time to reach the final of the CONCACAF Nations League in Texas on Thursday.

US striker Wright -- who scored an injury time winner for Coventry City in an upset English FA Cup win over Wolves on Saturday -- scored twice in extra-time to seal a hard-fought victory for the defending champions at the AT&T Stadium. Wright had only been drafted into the US squad on Sunday after Norwich City forward Josh Sargent was a late withdrawal with an ankle injury.

The CONCACAF Nations League final between the United States and Mexico will be played at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, USA.

It will kick off at 1:15 am GMT on Monday, March 25, in the United Kingdom (UK).

The United States men's national team (USMNT) are gunning for their third straight CONCACAF Nations League title when they welcome Mexico to the AT&T Stadium on Sunday.

With the Stars and Stripes leaving it until late in the 3-1 victory over Jamaica in their semi-final tie after a stunning 96th-minute equaliser, Gregg Berhalter's side will be in the second showdown encounter with El Tri in the three editions of the tournament so far.

On the other hand, Jaime Lozano's men cruised past Panama 3-0 in their penultimate game of the 2024 CONCACAF Nations League finals

The USMNT's win over Jamaica was a dramatic one that showed off the side's strengths and weaknesses. Gio Reyna assisted both of Haji Wright's goals as both made the maximum impact as substitutes, arguably saving the team's skin in the process. They went down a goal in the first minute, when Jamaica's Gregory Leigh scored, and despite holding more than 80% of the ball and posting 20 shots, the USMNT were wasteful in attack and looked set for defeat. Cory Burke's own goal in the sixth minute of stoppage time forced the game to extra time, which breathed new life into a U.S. team that was in sore need of it.

The objective for Sunday will be to ensure that no version of the first 90 minutes of the game against Jamaica turns up. It's possible the performance on Thursday could provide some insight in time for the clash against Mexico, since El Tri pummeled Panama despite being out-possessed and outshot.

In that case, it will be worth watching Berhalter's team selection to see if he feels Wright and Reyna can be effective from the start and help the U.S. avoid playing catch up. Sergino Dest, meanwhile, is expected to slot back into the lineup after missing the Jamaica game through suspension. Berhalter also said that Tyler Adams will likely be involved in some way as he eases his way back into playing after nearly a year out with a hamstring issue.

After suffering a major fright in the semi-finals, the United States men’s national team now face North American arch rivals Mexico in the final of the CONCACAF Nations League.

The USMNT needed a 96th-minute equaliser to force extra time against underdogs Jamaica on Thursday, before Haji Wright’s double earned the Stars and Stripes a 3-1 win. Meanwhile, Mexico beat Panama 3-0 in the day’s other last-four clash - but El Tri boss Jaime Lozano felt the scoreline flattered his side.

“It’s soccer and we made mistakes,” Lozano said post-match. “And, luckily for us, [Panama] couldn’t take advantage of them. We made some important interceptions to stop them. The final score is very misleading.”

Winners of both editions of the Nations League so far, the USMNT are on a six-game unbeaten run against the Mexicans. That sequence began in the inaugural Nations League final in 2021, when Christian Pulisic’s extra-time penalty gave the Americans a 3-2 victory.

Josh Sargent's injury turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as his replacement in the squad, Haji Wright ditched his family vacation to be USMNT hero.

However, double assist hero against Jamaica, Gio Reyna may start ahead of Tim Weah and Wright in the final; but the latter is expected to have a role to play once again.

Eligible to feature after serving a red card ban, Sergino Dest could reclaim his place from Joe Scally at right-back; while Ricardo Pepi is likely to replace Folarin Balogun upfront.

USMNT possible XI: Turner; Dest, Ream, Richards, A. Robinson; Adams, Musah, McKennie; Reyna, Pepi, Pulisic

Guillermo Ochoa, Julian Araujo and Julian Quinones replaced Luis Malagon, Jorge Sanchez and Hirving Lozano after the second leg of the quarter-finals against Honduras.

As compared to the XI that started against Panama in the semi-finals, Erick Aguirre and Orbelin Pineda could come in place of Araujo and Erick Sanchez at right-back and on the right flank, respectively.

Salernitana goalkeeper Ochoa will look for another clean sheet in goal.

Mexico possible XI: Ochoa; Aguirre, Montes, Vasquez, Gallardo; Pineda, Alvarez, Chavez; Antuna, Martin, Quinones

It’s the pinnacle of the Concacaf Champions League, and the spotlight is on the United States and Mexico, the dominant forces of Concacaf. They will vie for the title of the Confederation’s second most prestigious tournament.

The United States endured a nail-biting encounter against Jamaica, narrowly avoiding defeat with a last-minute equalizer in the fifth minute of stoppage time. Yet, the impending challenge looms larger. In contrast, Mexico had a relatively straightforward victory over Panama, and they are determined to carry their momentum into the final showdown.
